A creative retreat + artist residency on the windswept Atlantic coast of Morocco, where the medina hums with blue and white, argan trees dot the hills, and the light turns sand golden. Time spent wandering the medina of Essaouira, gathering at a long table in the argan grove, happily lost in the movement of making art, and letting the heat of the hammam and the desert melt the world from your shoulders.

Our home outside Essaouira
The heart of our retreats lies in time spent together, and the villa is our home for just that. An oasis in the desert, the villa is set on its own grounds among argan trees and open sky, and is a gentle place to land: a large living room with fireplace, a sweet lily pond with frogs, a courtyard for long lunches, and a glittering pool.
We have three rooms with ensuite bathrooms that could be your own sanctuary, or shared with one close friend, sister, mother, or partner. Three further rooms with ensuite bathrooms can each be arranged as one king and one single, or even as three single beds. Perfect for a trio of friends or family who want to be near one another.
Beyond the rooms there is the garden to wander, the argan grove, sun beds by the water, and the quiet of the countryside with the coast and the medina only a short drive away.

what it means to linger
We grew up in families where women made curious, creative worlds for us to feel understood within. We recognize the shape of kin keeping and our collective need for art. In it's sweetest balance, we can all find meaning in intention and taking care of others, our earth, and ourselves.
Linger, and our friendship, grew from this tenderness. If we were already doing this for the people we loved, what would it look like to invite women to linger together in a beautiful place, eat well, and let us carry those tightly held worlds, even for a few days.
